Illenium x Said The Sky x 1788-L – Sound of Where’d U Go
Illenium and Said The Sky released their esteemed track “Where’d U Go” in 2017, appearing on Illenium’s sophomore album Awake, and it was incredibly well received by the EDM community. This should come as no shock considering both have very similar production styles; they expertly combine melodic dubstep elements with progressive house, trap and future bass.
Now, with the emergence of dubstep producer 1788-L – this VIP edit combines all three of their unique sounds together and truly takes on a much heavier vibe with a much more syncopated and grittier drop that is reminiscent of early Porter Robinson. The original’s drop is a perfect pop inspired melodic dubstep drop, but this edit is perfect for headbanging to at a festival.
