Blaring Horns and traditional Haitian drums coupled with fellow Haitian rappers Baky and Strong G alongside vocalist J. Perry make for an absolutely infectious track with a beat that will be stuck in your head for days to come.
Michael also pairs the release with a beautiful music video celebrating the youth of Haiti and their independent positive spirits. The video was shot on location in Haiti with the children from the area of Jacmel. The song’s message is that Haiti refused to be defined by tragedy, and this new generation of Haitians are creating their own identities and shaping their own destinies.
