If you’ve heard of Printworks, the former printing press, then you’ll know it was transformed into a soundproofed rave factory. Located in London, England, Printworks is expertly run by events and festivals company Broadwick Live. This absolutely breathtaking venue is set to launch another groundbreaking project this upcoming March.
A brand new 3,000-capacity space, specifically designed to host live acts and bands, will be opening alongside the venue’s two club-focused areas, Charge Bay and Press Halls.
With a business mindset, the hard-working team behind one of the city’s best nightclubs, have created a full-proof schedule that should accommodate everyone’s specific tastes.
Throughout the week the new venue will host live music, while the weekends will be reserved for electronic dance music performances. It’s important to note that on Friday nights, the programs will alternate between parties and live gigs.
Some of the upcoming performance will include Lindstrøm, Job Jobse and Kerri Chandler (March 3), and Django Django (March 23). You can count on more acts to be announced very soon!
It has been reported that the venue will lean on the heritage building. The painting presses will act as the backdrop while the high ceilings will truly captivate your attention.
The below photograph demonstrates an artist’s impression of the new venue. It’s giving us chills just thinking about the madness that will unfold in the future.
The below photograph shows the most current progress.
We absolutely can’t wait to see the finals results!
If you could choose some of the headlining artists for the new venue, who would you choose?
