Following the sudden death of 21-year-old rapper Lil Peep in November, we’ve seen an outpouring of support from the music community. In addition, many artists revealed that they had recorded music with Peep prior to his death, with plans to release the music when the time was right. One of those artists is Marshmello, and he has just dropped the curtain on the release date for his collaboration with Lil Peep, “Spotlight.”
While he has not yet released any audio preview of the track, Mello announced that it will drop this Friday, January 12th, so you won’t have to wait long. This is an interesting collab for sure considering the artists’ vastly different styles, so stay tuned for the release of “Spotlight” on Friday to hear the result.
