Given the recent resurgence of electro, it makes sense that Maceo Plex, is dusting off his alias, Mariel, for the first time in 12 years. He initially debuted the project back in 2005, and over the next couple years produced various releases through imprints, with the likes of SCSI-AV and Modern Love.
The electro-focused alter-ego is coming back with a bang, and is set to release two new EPs under the name. One will be on R&S Records and the other on his Lone Romantic label. The first, titled 2e Komst on Lone Romantic, will make a landing on the 26th of this month. The retrospective album, 2000-2005, will come a bit later through R&S in May, and the second EP will be brought to us later on this summer.
Thankfully, we can quench our thirst a bit with the IDM release on the new cut “Process“, which is grabbed off of 2000-2005. Take a listen below!
