It’s safe to say that deadmau5 is known for two things: For his brilliant, life-changing music, and for his love of sports cars, as displayed in his multiple coffee runs with a variety of famous personalities. Earlier this year, deadmau5 announced that he had sold his McLaren P1 to pay for his Cube 2.1. However, he isn’t giving up on McLaren just yet.
The Canadian DJ tweeted a picture Wednesday morning, revealing that he’s one of 500 lucky people that has reserved a $1 million McLaren Senna.

Named for legendary Formula 1 driver Ayrton Senna, McLaren’s latest car is a true display of million-dollar minimalism. Originally dubbed the P15, McLaren says the Senna is the “most extreme” road car it has ever created, with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 generating 789 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque. It’s also the lightest, at 2,641 pounds. It boasts a RCC II RaceActive Chassis Control hydraulic suspension and unique features, like a glass greenhouse and glass panels in the doors.
It’s hardly surprising that deadmau5 was on McLaren’s shortlist, given that he has previously owned the first Ultimate Series model, the P1. As we all know, he’s also a well-known car collector with a large social media following, which is something that Ford has also found appealing. Ford, like McLaren, limited the production of its 2017 GT to just 500 units, one of which is reserved for deadmau5. We can’t wait to see how deadmau5 customizes that one. For now, we can only hope that mau5 will bring back the coffee runs in his new acid green ride.
