Dubfire, born as Ali Shirazinia, is a 46 year old versatile Iranian American techno and tech house DJ and Producer that has been active since as early 1991. Dubfire is also part of the Grammy Award-winning progressive house duo Deep Dish.
Dubfire is know for his eclectic style when it comes to merging components of techno with minimal and tech house. His unique blend of musical styles makes his tracks extremely identifiable, yet they preserve unpredictability, which is a definite bottleneck when it comes to producing techno, tech house, and minimal house.
Now, he brings you his new documentary “Above Ground Level”!
The documentary’s runtime is 77 minutes and was directed by Michael Koczynski and Mino Kodama.
“Above Ground Level” details Dubfire’s life and career as a traveling DJ and producer. This footage includes interviews from fellow techno masters such as Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, Seth Troxler and many more.
