If you thought things couldn’t get better for Drumcode lovers, you thought wrong!
It turns out they’re launching their own festival next year, as Adam Beyer and the promoters from Awakenings have announced today. The inaugural event will be happening at the former shipyard, NDSM, in Amsterdam North on August 18th.
With it now being 21 years since the creation of Drumcode, it’s definitely time to take a step forward with the festival in its own name. Beyer has played almost 80 shows for Awakenings since the late 90’s, so it’s a partnership made in techno heaven.
As of right now, there are no names on the line-up but will be announced soon on the website.
