DJ Mag Top 100 Can’t Seem to Get It Right
It’s that time of year again. Festival season is winding down, ADE just wrapped up in Holland, and the notorious DJ Mag Top 100 poll has been revealed. Taking the number one spot for the second year in a row is Dutch powerhouse Martin Garrix. Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike come in at number 2 while Armin van Buuren rounds out the top 3.
But just as our eyes lit up scrolling down the list, it was some obvious omissions that seemed to stand out. Artists like Kaskade, Audien, Tommy Trash, Excision, and Getter were nowhere to be found. That’s not to say that the DJ Mag doesn’t have a good representation of best DJ’s in the world, but it wasn’t only us that took notice. Several big name DJ’s took to twitter to voice their not-so-happy opinions on this year’s top 100. Take a look:
Only 75 spots til I’m finally off this list 📉👇🏽 let’s go further next year https://t.co/2cxd0Dxuyh
