Young Norwegian producer Marius has released solid track after solid track in 2017. Following up a more future bass/pop approach with his early EP on Seeking Blue, the kid has done a near 180 via signing up with Pelican Fly Records and releasing some of the year’s more abstract yet still somehow “future-bassy” productions.
‘Lame’ is an altogether compelling track, brought together by it’s many shifts and turns. The track starts with echoing synths and ethereal melodies which build upon a contrasting buzzing bass line. Tame “Imapala-esque” guitar riffs rip through the instrumental, adding a unique touch to the entire project.
