One of the most iconic club venues in dance music has been dark for the entire summer. LIV Miami has been undergoing a $10 million renovation that is said to include thousands of new LED lights and walls as well as a state of the art “robot chandelier”. We’ve been waiting anxiously for news on the construction, and now LIV is ready to show us a sneak peak. The remodeled club will officially re-open in October.
Luckily, LIV is previewing its new look this weekend with performances by Travis Scott and Skrillex. Skrillex has always been close with Miami Music Group, which owns both LIV and Story. It’s no surprise that Sonny would offer up one of his rare (in 2017) performances to re-christen the legendary venue in South Beach. We can’t wait to see the new look and we’ll be sure to share the pictures as soon as we have them.
