Yahtzel – Someone Else (feat. Savoi)
Australian producer, Yahtzel, released his newest single ‘Someone Else‘ today, officially making a debut on ODESZA’s Foreign Family Collective. Yahtzel, otherwise known as Max Armata, is recognized for innovating Australia’s electronic music scene. The song begins with a soothing piano melody that is soon fused together with the signature bass and beats of Yahtzel’s music. Featuring highly versatile songwriter and vocalist Savoi, Someone Else is upbeat, rhythmic, and catchy; a song fit for any season and can be played anywhere from an underground indie dance scene to a speakeasy bar.
Yahtzel’s debut single ‘Girls’ racked up over 1.3 million streaming plays on his Soundcloud and indie Youtube channel Majestic Casual, then his follow-up single ‘High With Me’ garnered over 22 million plays on his Soundcloud and Youtube Channel The Sound You Need combined. For those of you who aren’t too familiar with Yahtzel yet, you may recognize his band Carmada in which he came together with fellow Australian producer L D R U. Carmada burst onto the scene via their OWSLA-released smash EP titled ‘Realise’ including hits Maybe and On Fire
