As summer is slowly coming to a close, music lovers are preparing themselves for the annual Amsterdam Dance Event coming up in October. ADE has been around for 20+ years and this year it hosts over 2,000+ artists from around the globe.
With such an overwhelming number of events happening in such a short period of time one may wonder, which events should I attend? Besides the well known parties we ADE lovers already know about, there are many smaller, more intimate events that can often slip under the radar.
One of the more underground labels to be curating a showcase at ADE this October is Beat Boutique Records. The Tel Aviv based label is only two years old and it has already broken the top 100 charts on Beatport with one of its most recent releases “Whisper Unit,” breaking the top 10 in the progressive house genre. Additionally, the label has had support on tracks from world renowned artists such as Umek, Danny Tenaglia, Paco Osuna, Roger Sanchez and other techno superstars.
The label already had a successful showcase at The Block, the renown club in Tel Aviv and is looking to transplant that same vibe over to Amsterdam. The Beat Boutique Showcase will take place on the opening night of ADE (October 18th), at the Recycle Lounge Gallery Club from 9pm-5am. The lineup includes a variety of recognized artists who are currently on the international circuit, including: German powerhouse D-nox, DJ Zombi, Lonya, Ran Salman, Marten Sundberg, Yehuda Narkis, Scott James, and Santiago Franch.
The location of the event has been hand picked by head honcho DJ Zombi himself in order to create a profound intimate vibe clubbers and artists search for when seeking out the underground shows of ADE. With the label’s deep, progressive, techno sound guiding the evening the Beat Boutique Showcase is definitely one to consider this upcoming October.
