You can never guarantee transportation without hiccups, even when you’re Eric Prydz. Eric notoriously dislikes flying, so he prefers ground transportation like trains and busses. Transportation failed Eric today as he rushed to Tomorrowland for his Mainstage set.
You can see from Eric’s frantic tweets below that the situation has him quite stressed. An accident stopped all the trains and he was forced to race by car from France with Police escort. Seriously, Eric tweeted that he’s driving 160mph to get there.
In the meantime Afrojack is stepping in to keep the stage warm until he shows up. Will his set be cut short? We certainly hope not, as his set might be the best one the mainstage will see all weekend. Either way, Eric will also be gracing the Drumcode stage later tonight as Cirez D.
Update: After 20 minutes Eric is on!
