The Tomorrowland 2017 planning can really kick into high gear now, as the festival finally announced the complete set times today. Both Weekends 1 and 2 set times are now officially available on the website here. Still no word on when the updated apps will become available, but it should not be too far off. Let’s go over some key takeaways
ASOT, Trance Energy, Axtone, Smash The House, and Pryda get the Freedom Stage
You probably already assumed some of this, but now we’re pretty sure that A State of Trance and Eric Prydz will get to perform on the festival’s second biggest stage come weekend 2. Better yet, Reddit discovered that once you print off a personalized schedule the stages are revealed. Pryda and ASOT will be at the Freedom Stage, however we’re currently unsure where it will be and what it will look like.
No Deadmau5 B2B Prydz This Time
This one isn’t exactly a surprise, but what we get instead is actually much better. Weekend 2 festivalgoers get 90 minutes of deadmau5 followed by 2 hours of Eric Prydz to close down the festival on Sunday. On top of that, Eric Prydz will play twice on Friday of Weekend 1: once on the mainstage at 9pm and then he will close the Drumcode stage under his techno Cirez D alias.
Martin Garrix Will Close Both Weekends
Tomorrowland has always loved Martin Garrix, and now with him being named the DJ Mag #1 DJ it’s little surprise that he will close down both Weekends of Tomorrowland.
Alesso, DJ Snake, & Steve Aoki Will Also Close the Mainstage
Alesso, and Steve Aoki will join Martin Garrix in closing down the Mainstage this year, but they have both done so before. DJ Snake will follow up his closing performances at Ultra and Coachella with a closer on Friday of Weekend 2.
Afrojack will Play a Kapuchon Techno Set
On Friday of Weekend 2 Dutch DJ Afrojack will take the Sexy by Nature stage to play b2b with Benny Rodrigues for a techno set that Afrojack has called his Kapuchon alias.
