Nero is about to add a new member to their trio as the groups long-time vocalist, Alana Watson is pregnant. Nero announced the news on their Facebook page alongside an image from the ultrasound announcing that Watson would be taking sometime out from touring.
Their Facebook page reads, “We’re pleased to announce that Alana will soon be having a baby. This means that she’ll be taking some time out from performing live for the rest of the year. She’s continuing to work in the studio and will be back on tour in 2018.”
Watson got married to her band mate, Dan Stephens, back in 2015, but the three band members have been working on music together for over a decade. Nero is scheduled to play Electric Forest on Friday, June 23 as well as a slew of other tour dates throughout July that will go on without Watson.
The Grammy award-winning group have been relatively quiet since releasing their sophomore album, “Between II Worlds” in 2013, however they have an upcoming collaboration with Zhu titled, “Dreamz” that is expected to drop very soon.
