With all of the focus on the atrocities committed in the name of in Allah today, it’s easy to forget that this weekend is a big one for dance music in the UK. Creamfields‘ is hosting its Steel Yard events in London. The megastructure will play host to deadmau5 vs Eric Prydz, Dusky, Richie Hawtin, Marco Corola, Locol Dice, Eric Prydz again, Adam Beyer, Cristoph, Sasha, and more. That’s in addition to Eric Prydz’ EPIC 5.0 show taking place in London on Saturday.  Needless to say there must be some anxiety on the parts of the organizers and the attendees.
Creamfields announced that their social media accounts would go silent for 48 hours in sympathy with the victims of the Manchester attack. Despite this, Creamfields announced that Steel Yard would still hold events this weekend. The festival will work closely with authorities to take utmost precaution to ensure the safety of all the guests this weekend. EPIC 5.0 will not be deterred by medieval savages.
