Austin City Limits Festival has been a staple of the fall festival scene for going on 16 years. Set in Austin’s picturesque Zilker Park, the festival is returning for two weekends this year: Oct 6-8 and 13-15.
The festival just released its lineup and a huge one. With eight stages and over 140 acts there’s something for a lover of any genre. The headliners include the likes of RHCP, Chance the Rapper, The Killers, Gorillaz, Martin Garrix, The XX, as well as the later added Jay-Z. And even though the ACL is mostly known for a wide variety of bands, the festival has a respectable presence of electronic acts. Aside from the aforementioned headliners Gorillaz (who are on their first North American tour in seven years) and Martin Garrix, the other electronic acts on the lineup include Zhu, Bonobo, RÜFÜS DU SOL, Louis The Child, Alison Wonderland, Getter, and Big Wild.
