Porter Adds Full-Length ‘Shelter’ Edit To Worlds
Porter Robinson has been keeping himself busy lately. His Shelter tour with Madeon has been getting a lot of attention since it is coming to and end at Coachella. Robinson also headlined at Something Wonderful at the Texas Motor Speedway this weekend. People gathered in masses to see the artist once again perform his live version of the 2014 Worlds.
Porter seemed more energized than ever on the eve of his Shelter Tour finale. He used that energy to bring Something Wonderful an absolutely stunning show. The show hit all the familiar notes of his live show that his fans have come to expect. What was unexpected was the addition of his very own Worlds edit of ‘Shelter’. The song was placed in between ‘Flicker’ and ‘Goodbye to a World’ making it one of the last songs in the set. As soon as the music video appeared on screen, the crowd exploded in excitement. Throughout the song, Robinson mixed it with the ‘Sad Machine’ melody and also provided his own vocals. The song perfectly fits into the flow of the live show and only adds to the Worlds experience. From the opening of ‘Sad Machine’ to the closing of ‘Language’ Robinson gave us another night for the books.
Check out a video someone captured of the moment last night below.
