Of course this phrase is thrown around a lot, but NGHTMRE & SLANDER‘s Gud Vibrations party during Miami Music Week was, without a doubt, the hottest ticket in town. That is, your best opportunity to catch so many talented new artists making major waves in the dance music scene. Few artists have experienced the meteoric rise of both NGHTMRE and SLANDER, and those guys already know who’s next in the game. They took over Mana Wynwood with plenty of sick DJs you will undoubtedly see more of next year.
First off, JOYRYDE was probably the hottest new name on the block in Miami during MMW 2017. He slayed the UMF Radio Stage, garnering plenty of attention, but he kicked it all off at Gud Vibrations. You will see a lot more of JOYRYDE in 2017 and beyond.
Gud Vibrations was also one of your only chances to see SAYMYNAME besides the fact that his tracks and remixes dropped all over Ultra 2017. DJ Snake’s most epic moment of his closing set came when he dropped SAYMYNAME’s remix for “Propaganda”.
Believe it or not 2017 was NGHTMRE’s first time being officially on the Ultra lineup, despite arguably launching his career there in 2015 when Skrillex dropped “Street” as an ID that had everybody talking.
From start to finish Gud Vibrations was a banging good time and the best way to kick off an epic Miami Music Week and the only place during Miami Music Week to see the rowdiness of NGHTMRE and SLANDER back-to-back.
