The Gorillaz are making a huge return with an album release coming up soon and a TV show on the way. Listen to the songs already released here. Jamie Hewlett let us know in an interview that he’s working on a ten-episode TV series about the lives of the four animated band characters.
It’s uncertain what channel it will debut on, but this is an idea that we’ve all thought about at some point. It will be interesting to see if they incorporate their new songs in the show. Frontman Damon Albarn revealed in an interview that there are about 40-45 tracks that didn’t even make the album. We could even hear more music than we thought was out there.
