It seems like lately The Chainsmokers have been making monumental achievements every week but with their major hits and impressive collaborations, their success is to no one’s surprise. This time, the duo accomplished something that hasn’t been done since The Beatles and Bee Gees.
The duo of Alex Pall and Drew Taggart have reached unimaginable success over the past year and don’t seem to be slowing down. After taking home a handful of major awards at the iHeartRadio Music Awards this past weekend, including Best New Artist and Dance Artist of the Year, The Chainsmokers kicked off the week on another high note as they accomplish another incredible achievement. For the first time since The Beatles and Bee Gees, The Chainsmokers are a duo or band that simultaneously holds three tracks on the Billboard Hot 100’s Top 10. Their track Something Just Like This currently holds the 5th spot on the list, while Paris and Closer sit at the 7th and 10th spots respectively.
The Chainsmokers are reportedly done with their debut album, Memories… Do Not Open. The duo has also promised that other than Something Just Like This and Paris, which will be on the album, all other tracks will be brand new. As we await the album’s release on April 7th, we can only imagine the success the new tracks on the album will bring to The Chainsmokers.
