We’ve already extensively covered the impending trance revival of W&W set to go down at Ultra 2017’s A State of Trance stage, but until now we haven’t gotten any official music from the new project. We’ve heard rumblings of an ID that Armin van Buuren may have played in his ASOT800 Utrecht set, but now we’ve got something official.
Today, W&W dropped an NWYR remix to Ed Sheeran‘s “Castle On The Hill“. While a pop remix might have the trance faithful nervous already, the remix brings you right back to that old melodic W&W that you have been craving. The remix packs a ton of energy and soaring synths that will be sure to get your hands in the air under Ultra’s megastructure in a few weeks. When the classic melodic synths finally kick in, you will realize this isn’t the same W&W that gave you “Caribbean Rave”, this is NWYR. You can check out the full preview with the lyric video above. Get ready for the world premiere of the NWYR project in a few short weeks.
