East Coast bass heads have a huge Labor Day Weekend to look forward to now that Bassnectar’s own festival, Bass Center, has announced its tenth event at the Hampton Coliseum in Virginia. It will be a three night extravaganza featuring a Bassnectar performance each night alongside Cashmere Cat, CloZee, Shlump, Dan Deacon, Tsuruda, Son of Kick, Mr. Carmack, Bleep Bloop and CharlesTheFirst. With a lineup like this, there will be no shortage of wonky bass and aggressive on-the-rails head banging.
For the tenth edition, Bass Center will be using the entirety of the coliseum to make the event more encompassing and participation heavy. The Haven will be an area geared towards relaxation from the madness with ambient music, yoga, massage areas and more. The Lot will be a first for the event, designed to be an area where the true talents of the attendees can be showcased in a renegade setting. “Bring your arts, your crafts, your freak flag, your tailgating vibes, and participate fully.”
Knowing how quickly this event will sell out because of the massive following of Bassnectar and sheer talent of the artists, the team has decided to hold a presale raffle for tickets. You can enter the drawing beginning tomorrow, March 8th, through March 13th and winners will be selected at random, giving everyone a fair chance to experience this massive event.
General on sale tickets will be available March 17th, and that is the one you’re going to want to set your alarms for.
