This Is What It Looks Like When EDM And Science Join Forces
We can all take a sigh of relief – Bill Nye the Science Guy is back! And he’s bringing Steve Aoki with him – well, at least for one episode. The Emmy Winning 1990’s television show Bill Nye the Science Guy is now revamped into a new series, Bill Nye Saves the World. To the naked eye, the two appear to be the world’s most unlikely friends, until 2015 when they cowrote a song together. And now, their world’s collide once again before our very binge watching eyes.
Bill Nye states:
“Since the start of the Science Guy show, I’ve been on a mission to change the world by getting people everywhere excited about the fundamental ideas in science,” said Bill Nye. “Today, I’m excited to be working with Netflix on a new show, where we’ll discuss the complex scientific issues facing us today, with episodes on vaccinations, genetically modified foods and climate change. With the right science and good writing, we’ll do our best to enlighten and entertain our audience. And, perhaps we’ll change the world a little.”
The 13-episode Netflix original will start April 21st. Steve Aoki is among a long list of famous guests like Karlie Kloss, Nazeem Hussain, Tim Gunn, Zach Braff, Rachel Bloom, Emily Calandrelli, Joe McHale, and more.
Can Bill Nye and Steve Aoki come together to save the world with music and science? We will just have to wait and see. Watch the trailer for Bill Nye Saves The World below!
