While many lament the current state of dance music, one subgenre having its own renaissance is trance. Insomniac sensed this when it launched its Dreamstate trance festival property, that has since gained a foothold at all Insomniac festivals. Now, we know Dreamstate is about to take it to the big leagues, gaining its own stage at EDC Vegas 2017.
The aptly named Quantum Valley stage was revealed by Pasquale Rotella on Snapchat today, as he previewed the 2017 EDC ticket box designs. Unfortunately, it’s almost impossible to discern any of the details from the picture, but surely, the trance fam has to be ecstatic about this news. Will it be a megastructure or will it be like last year’s outdoor Circuit Grounds design? Only time will tell.
