House is one of those genres that brings together all the most lovable elements of electronic music.  With beats that keep a crowd happy and dancing into the wee hours of the night, people just keep on coming back for more.  It’s no wonder that since it first gained traction, it has created such a dedicated following and rich history. The team at Eclectic Method wanted to pay homage to some of the artists that have helped shape the genre into what it is today through a brief history lesson.
The video starts off in 1977 with Donna Summer, the queen of Disco, and takes you through the decades of technology and sound progression. With iconic artists like Black Box, Robin S, Josh Wink, Stardust, Deadmau5 and so many more adding their own spin on the beloved sound. Â It truly is a genre that is timeless, and for as much of an impressive history as it has, the future of house looks even brighter.
Check out the video and see how many of these classic hits you remember.
