First a performance at The Grammys, and now this – oh, the news from Daft Punk is getting better and better. The French duo announced today that they will host a pop-up shop at Los Angeles’ Maxfield from February 11-19th.
The pop-up will offer “limited edition apparel and accessories” created from the duo’s work with a number of designers, including Darkdron, Han Cholo, K-Way and Off-White, as well as merchandise created by Daft Punk Official Merchandise specifically for this store, along with items from the Daft Punk online store.
But wait, there’s more – with this pop-up, attendees aren’t just getting merchandise. They’ve also promised a history lesson, as they’ve released a statement saying that the shop will also include “a retrospective of archival set pieces, props, wardrobe, artwork, photography and robot helmets.” We can only imagine this is going to be as breathtaking as it sounds.
Maxfield is located at 8818 Melrose Ave in West Hollywood. The pop-up shop will be open Monday-Saturday from 11am-7pm and Sunday from 12-5pm.
