After a successful fall tour, Porter Robinson & Madeon are releasing the Shelter Mini Album. The artists released the collaborative track of the same name in August before the tour.
It’s clear that a great deal of work has gone into this project from the tour, the track itself and the music video made by A-1 Pictures, a Japanese animation studio. The animated music video can be viewed here. The Shelter Mini Album is nothing short of the icing on the cake to this comeback from Robinson’s challenge with depression in 2015.
2016 was better because working with madeon & working on shelter the animation reminded me that i can still make stuff i’m proud of

A physical copy of Shelter: Mini Album is only available in Japan. The set release includes a CD, a blu-ray disc of the Japanese animation and a flag as a bonus.

Porter Robinson is always reassuring his fans that there are bigger things to come and to stay tuned. Madeon is the most compatible travelling companion and fans can’t be more satisfied with the outcome 2016. Shelter: Mini Album is the start of a great year for the two.
