Modestep – Living For The Weekend
After an almost-2-year break since the debut of their sophomore release, London Road, Modestep has dropped the first single off their impending third album, titled “Living For The Weekend” co-produced by Zomboy. The song is an anthem for anyone who spends their nine-to-five job just waiting for the end of the week. Along with the track, Billboard Dance has premiered a NSFW music video (below).
For anyone familiar with Modestep’s London Road (2015), “Living For The Weekend” should remind you of the hard-hitting bass sounds and trap snares from “Rainbow” – one of the band’s most popular songs. Taking the hard-rock vs. dubstep style into 2017, there is a dominating hard-trap drop that should shake both club floors and festival stages.
Additional details on Modestep’s third album are set to be revealed shortly. We can tell you that more singles are ready for release, but the album remains unfinished. For now, enjoy the hilarious music video to compliment “Living For The Weekend”. Some more experienced party-veterans should be able to relate to the well-reflected combination of bottle service, bizarre hats, confetti, pillow fights, and white powdery substances.
