Calvin Harris, born Adam Richard Wiles, is a Scottish DJ and producer that has been active since as early as 2002. Harris holds the record for the most top 10 songs from one album on the UK Single Chart with a record-breaking 9 entries – which surpassed Michael Jackson’s record. He has received numerous awards for his contributions to the music scene and has been named one of the most influential people in Britain.
Harris topped Forbes’ highest paid DJ list for the 4th consecutive year in 2016, which should come as no surprise for those familiar with his tracks. Harris is able to successfully fuse elements of pop with progressive house. According to his Twitter account, we can expect at least 10 new songs from him this year:
