During Axwell Λ Ingrosso’s set at India’s Sunburn Music Festival they played a ton of new material but one track that stuck out like a sore thumb during their performance was one track in particular. It started off with a fairly familiar intro which sounded like The Verve’s “Bittersweet Symphony“. This was the start to the collaboration “I Love You (Working Title)” with hip hop artist Kid Ink. This comes as the third track that the Swedish duo incorporated a hip hop artist in their singles as it follows the vocal edit of “Can’t Hold Us Down” and their former set starter “This Time” from Bronx, NY native Pusha T.
“I Love You (Working Title)” has a brilliant mixture of orchestral instrumentation, progressive bass lines, hip hop & R&B vocals of Kid Ink and the currently unidentified vocalist & a euphoric drop that is synonymous to Axwell Λ Ingrosso productions. The duo continues to innovate with new styles in their music and blended hip hop and progressive house together to create what looks like a possible masterpiece.
