Legendary DJ Pete Tong has announced that he will be playing a special ‘All Gone Pete Tong’ charity show in Los Angeles at Sound Nightclub on December 23rd. Tong will be joined by Lee Foss and MK, making for a mouth-watering line-up and one last can’t-be-missed show of 2016.
All proceeds will be donated to two charities, Spare Some Change & Bullies and Buddies. Bullies and Buddies is a pitbull and abused dog rescue organization in Redondo Beach, while Spare Some Change is a homeless youth empowerment program, serving to help the nearly 1.8 million homeless youth in America.
This charity show at Sound wraps up a busy year for Pete Tong, the iconic Radio 1 Essential Mix DJ. He took his ‘All Gone Pete Tong’ tour across North America for the first time, and made history with his collaboration with the Heritage Orchestra on ‘Classic House’ which culminated in a live show show bringing classical arrangements together with house music. 2017 should be another immensely busy year for one of the hardest working icons in house music.
You can grab tickets for the show at www.soundnightclub.com. If you’re looking to get involved with the charities to whom the proceeds are being given, you can get involved with Spare Some Change here and with Bullies and Buddies here.
