After recently announcing his retirement from touring, Avicii has made another big announcement: he has switched to a new management company. We recently saw something similar happen with Axwell /\ Ingrosso, who left the same company, At Night Management, to return to their old manager from the Swedish House Mafia days, Amy Thomson.
An Avicii rep gave a quote:
“2x Grammy-nominated songwriter/producer Tim Bergling and his production/publishing entity Avicii Music AB have parted ways with manager Ash Pournouri, At Night Management. Bergling is signed to Universal Music Sweden and is expected to release an album next year.”
Although he has no plans of doing shows right now, we can hope this is a sign of not just new music coming out, but maybe also a new direction that could bring him back to performing in the near future.
