RL Grime, What So Not, Skrillex – Waiting
On Friday the 3rd of November, a new and undoubtedly beautiful song was released into the world. That tune is “Waiting“, a gigantic collaboration between What So Not, RL Grime, and Skrillex.
“Waiting” opens up with a relatively sad and mournful intro that sounds to be heavily in What So Not territory. The intro smashes into a preposterous drop with long horn-like sounds that take the trap monster to the next level.
The track is attributed to three producers, but some are suggesting that Skrillex’s sound is not found on this track at all, or in very small amounts. SoundCloud user SLUDER left the following comment on the track’s upload:
“..u can hear RL & WSN distinctly, but Skrillex is nowhere to be heard lmao”
Others have called this track “Tell Me” 2.0, referencing a collaboration between What So Not and RL Grime from 2014, but Soundcloud user Sean Liu 8 says:
“this isn’t “Tell Me 2.0″….this is “Touched 2.0″ ^>^”
