Today marks one of the most monumental Presidential Election Days in American history over the past few decades, because of the drastic difference between the respective candidates, Donald J. Trump and Hillary Clinton, and their ideologies, demeanors, and plan of action for America.
Both candidates have their flaws, there’s no denying that, one has been marked a racist and sexist by the media and the other has been investigated by the FBI multiple times for real crimes, yet the media outlets on both sides never report the facts unaltered.
If there’s one thing to be learned by this election is that you, as an American, must always do your due diligence. You must assess whether or not what you believe about the candidates are true and whether that affects their ability to act as the President of the greatest nation in the world. There’s been a lot of cognitive dissonance and confirmation bias this election, and it’s been insane to witness the corruption and spread of lies.
Despite all of this, history will be made — the American people have the power to help enact the changes they want…all you have to do is go out and vote!
This entire election has been extremely intense and bizarre, to say the least, and it doesn’t come as a surprise that many individuals feel that both candidates are not fit to be president. As Deadmau5 jokingly suggested and also as many other individuals have expressed their will to do so, depending on the results, they might be leaving the USA altogether.
