There are always a few notable names left out of the DJ Mag Top 100 poll every year. Enough so that there is a whole separate list of the 50 DJs and producers that didn’t make the list. Don’t underestimate the talent pool though, because there are quite the number of heavy hitters in the mix. Kaskade is 114 and I do recall him having the highest festival attendance ever at Coachella back in 2015. Fatboy Slim, slotted at 145, came up with that one song “Praise You” and more recently, “Eat, Sleep, Rave, Repeat”. Finally, at 124, Richie Hawtin, the techno king, creator of his own mixer the PLAYdifferently Model 1 and owner of his own sake line, ENTER.sake.
