Nonstop touring can take a detrimental toll on our beloved artists, as we’ve seen repeatedly with Avicii and numerous others in the past. Now, Anjunabeats producer ilan Bluestone has unfortunately been added to this list of musicians who need a rest, as he has cancelled some upcoming shows to recover.
In an Instagram post Saturday, Bluestone wrote that he has cancelled three upcoming shows on his AnthemTest Tour because his doctor has ordered him to rest for four full weeks.

“Burnout and the associated health issues that come with that, especially in the dance music industry,” he wrote, “have been well documented recently, and it’s important that I tackle this sooner than later to avoid more serious issues with my health.”
The cancelled stops are in Washington on October 6, Ottawa on October 21 and Hamilton on October 22.
Bluestone also wrote his hiatus will include not just touring, but “all things work related, including social media.”
Feel better, iB!
