Japan is back with some new technology that is sure to get both sports fans and music enthusiasts excited. It seems like the country is always coming up with cutting-edge ideas and even though we should be used to it by now, it’s still cool to see what their scientists, engineers and inventors create.
This time, they have built a basketball court out of LED lights. Yes, the floor is not wood or metal, but all lights. It’s like a raver’s best idea come to life. And it’s not just for show or practice, this court is used in professional league play, unlike the Nike practice court in Shanghai which is pictured above. The floor surface makes for great halftime shows and special effects for pre-game productions. We feel like it’s only a matter of time before this becomes a new hotspot for dance music events.
