He’s baaaaaaack.
For the first time performing in the U.S. since Coachella in 2008, Aphex Twin will be gracing us with his presence again – this time at Houston’s Day for Night festival, which happens December 17-18. This is a rare occasion, as a rep confirmed to Pitchfork that he has no touring plans beyond this set.
The festival describes itself as “featuring world class musicians as well as leaders in various disciplines of digital art.” Past names on the roster of performers have included over heavy-hitters including Kendrick Lamar, Dillon Francis and Flying Lotus. The festival’s producer, Omar Afra, spoke to Billboard Dance to explain that “we can indeed confirm Aphex Twin is performing at Day for Night.”
