Over the Labor Day weekend, Insomniac Events held its annual Nocturnal Wonderland at the San Manuel Amphitheater in San Bernardino, California. While thousands of headliners came to enjoy a weekend full of good vibes and good music, some were not so fortunate.
Of the total 67,195 attendees, over 400 people were arrested while five individuals were hospitalized. One sheriff’s deputy was hospitalized after an arrest on Friday and released after being treated for minor injuries. According to the LA Times, six incidences were due to underage individuals trying to sneak in, one man was driving under the influence, and 111 others tried sneaking in prohibited items into the festival. While it is important to have fun and enjoy time with friends, it is even more important to remember that you must behave with the safety of others in mind. Driving while intoxicated or smuggling in illegal substances will not do you any good so please refrain from such activities as much as possible.
Aside from the unfortunate arrests and hospitalizations, the festival closed down early Monday morning after a wonderful 21st anniversary. Congratulations to the team at Insomniac Events and Nocturnal Wonderland.
