UPDATE: Tonight was another play in the book to tease the fans. Instead of releasing his album, Frank Ocean released a new video album called ‘Endless,’ a different project from Boys Don’t Cry. This staircase is the same as the first video that teased the upcoming album just a few days ago. Rolling Stone has confirmed that it is not the album we’ve been looking out for – but we’re not complaining about new tunes from Frank, either. Rolling Stone is also claiming that Apple Music will release the new album this weekend. Two new projects in the same week? Don’t tease us anymore.
Apple Music subscribers can watch Endless here.

This is it. This is real. It’s what we’ve all been waiting for. And no, we’re not kidding. Frank Ocean is currently livestreaming a mysterious black-and-white video on his website in which he is building a staircase in the warehouse he has been woodworking in. The soundtrack is no other than what we can assume to be his new album, Boys Don’t Cry.
The album was intended to be released Aug. 5 on Apple Music, according to The New York Times, but this never followed through. For now, stream (what we hope is) the album now on his site via Apple Music while you can. If you miss it, you can reminisce on his old tracks below.
Leave it to Frank to leave us all waiting and then find one of the most creative ways to introduce his album. Frank, you never cease to amaze us.
