On March 15- 19, SXM Festival will make their sophomore return to the remote Caribbean Island of Saint Martin.
In 2016, SXM Festival made their debut weaving an eclectic electronic music lineup amongst the island’s scenic jungles, beaches, rooftops and villas. With both the unique setting and artist bookings, SXM Festival is well on its way to becoming a global staple for house and techno lovers searching for more clandestine music events.
Last year, the festival featured artists like Apollonia, Audiofly, M.A.N.D.Y., Maher Daniel, BLOND:ISH, Mia Lucci, Thugfucker, Bedouin, DJ Tennis, Adriatique, H.O.S.H., Ryan Crosson, Maceo Plex, Danny Daze, Guy Gerber, Rebolledo, and Gardens of God, amongst many more. With plans to outdo their 2016 edition, SXM Festival has its sights on expanding its lineups, venues for 2017. However, expect to see a quality over quantity model in place as they further develop the event.
The close attention to music curation mixed with the sprawling beauty of St Maarten’s jungles and beaches are what make this festival deserving of the attention of the globetrotting dance community.
