Any live entertainment show, like everything else in society, must abide to safety and sound regulations that have been set forth by local governments. While it is human nature to attempt to defy the limits forced onto us, society has consequences in place for those who do not act in accordance with public safety. The latest example is a local bass event entitled MELTDOWN in Detroit, where two policeman were forced to shut down the show. While the performing artist Virtual Riot respectfully left after one of the officers constantly tried getting him to leave, some individuals lingered around on stage. At that point, the officer briefly pulled out his sidearm to provoke the dancers into leaving the stage. While it was completely unnecessary for the officer to pull out his gun, it shows a complete lack of communication and understanding between the event organizers and authorities.
