Three New Emerging Artists Not to Miss at Mysteryland USA 2016

Emerging Artists

Sorting through any lineup can be a challenge, even for the most seasoned festival-goer. Whether it’s an overwhelming number of familiar acts, or fear of missing an unknown great, it’s never easy. Mysteryland USA is finally on the horizon, and to help prepare impending adventurers, we’ve put together a brief (and so managable) list of a few new artists not to miss at the third annual New York event. Make sure you check out the bottom of this article for some helpful links and information about the festival.

Codeko

Ed Clark, aka, Codeko, is only 19 years old, but this London-based producer is already hearing his music played worldwide by artists such as Zedd, Hardwell, Armin Van Buuren, and on BBC Radio 1’s Diplo & Friends. Mysteryland has hand-picked Codeko as this year’s contest winner, meaning you can catch him at the legendary “Boat” stage on Sunday, at 2:00 pm. His Mysteryland mini-mix features sounds from Oliver Heldens, Kryder, Frankie Knuckles, Don Diablo, and more.

Dapp

This CT-born DJ is bringing heavy bass and trap music to the Mysteryland Holy Grounds this weekend. He was featured on the “Mysteryland USA Emerging Artist” playlist this past April. His hour-long set included dozens of artists including Skrillex, Diplo, Kill The Noise, Zeds Dead, and Bassnectar. We can’t wait to hear what he brings to the 1:00 am Silent Disco on Sunday.

White Cliffs

Filling the 3:00 – 4:00 am time slot on Sunday morning White Cliffs. This Atlanta-native is now planting roots in Brooklyn as he breaks into the music scene. White Cliffs was originally trained on jazz guitar and piano before beginning to make electronic music and we’re excited to see how he weaves this sounds into his hour-long set at Mysteryland USA. This artist spotlight on the ML SoundCloud features A-Trak, Ace of Base, What So Not, and Snakehips, just to name a few.
