To no one’s surprise, SoundCloud is under fire yet again – this time by musical talent themselves, who are criticizing the platform for removing their tracks. Those who have not felt the force of SoundCloud’s restrictions are taking precautions to protect their accounts, removing tracks that could cause problems.
Artists like Boombox Cartel and Kayzo took to Facebook to let their fans know that they are removing all unofficial remixes and bootlegs in order to save their accounts from dismay like Ookay has suffered, whose account was deleted due to a private bootleg from roughly three years ago.
Ookay is just one of many artists who has had their tracks or account removed. He took to Twitter to poke fun at the restrictions he has faced and the lost of his account.
Doing my soundcloud funeral ceremony dinner at Chik Fil A next Sunday.

Other artists are taking to social media to lend their support for those who are dealing with the restrictions.
