Dillon Francis has become one of the funniest and most beloved producers in dance music, and not even just from his music. His hilarious antics and numerous personas make it hard to even tell when Dillon is Dillon or playing a character. The always funny producer rarely breaks “character” to get serious, but today he did just that after a fan accused him of “selling out” on Facebook.
In response to the call out, Dillon gave a great explanation for his stylistic changes and his growth as an artist. He explains that to him, selling out means betraying his personal integrity which he has never done. He also feels that he needs to expand his musical repertoire over time, something we hear from countless artists facing this same criticism from hardcore fans. Then Dillon totally owns the original poster in the way that only he can.
