Ingrosso – Dark River (Axwell Remode)
It was just a little over two weeks ago when Sebastian Ingrosso—one half of the Swedish powerhouse duo Axwell Λ Ingrosso—released the long awaited single “Dark River“. The duo has been playing the single for awhile now, and at one point fans believed it would be the duo’s next single until Ingrosso revealed he would release it solo. Now, both of them officially have their imprint on the single as Axwell has created his very own remode.
Axwell’s remode is a darker & more ominous take to the original. As compared to the original, he flipped the bumping bassline into a softer and housier effort over a chopped up vocal. This version definitely has the potential to be played often in a club setting, while Ingrosso’s original belongs on the main stage. With two versions of the tune now out, you can absolutely expect to hear the duo alternate between versions in their sets throughout the summer season.
