Zedd & Kesha – True Colors
Even amidst controversy and pain, Zedd and Kesha have proven that beauty can be found in the world through creative self-expression. At weekend 1 of Coachella this month, Zedd brought out surprise guest Kesha for the vocals on his original track True Colors. The original, gave us a very introspective feeling with haunting vocals that connect us on a deeper level.
With Kesha now providing the vocals, we are taken even deeper. Listening to the release, we connect with her emotion and struggle; yet can hear the strength she has to carry on. It’s as if we are being called upon to take a stand against those in the world that are determined to force us down. Admittedly, this song moved me, as it is possibly one of the most passionate and expressive songs we’ve heard from a dance music producer. For that, Thank You Zedd. And Thank You Kesha for your strength and perseverance, we stand with you and hope we hear more of your talent.
Maybe, I’ve taken this to an unnecessarily deep level, but maybe not. We’ve all experienced struggles in life and this song is our anthem. I highly recommend listening to the track or downloading it here to make the judgment on your own.
