17-year-old phenom Oshi‘s career keeps getting more impressive, as he continues his meteoric rise in electronic music. The talented beat maker can add working with Skrillex to his list of accomplishments, which already includes co-founding his own label Film Noir and being the youngest DJ to mix for Boiler Room. This all comes just months after Lorde revealed that she is a fan of Osha’s work. He has recently dropped a slew of impressive originals, releasing soaring tracks such as “The Journey,” “Cosmos” and “Take Flight.” He has also promised his fans an EP that is “coming soon, I guess,” titled “A Thing By Oshi”. As his fans rabidly await its release, they are now gifted with the exciting news that Oshi will be working with one of the biggest artists in electronic music.
Oshi teased the collaboration via Snapchat, with the unpromising caption “its never coming out ever.” The video is a ten second clip which seems to feature an uplifting melodic build. This news is consistent with some of Skrillex’s recent projects, as he has dropped some excellent collaborations with skilled artists such as Tennyson, Dillon Francis and the brilliant ZHU. Hopefully he is also to get this track released and give Oshi some much deserved additional exposure.
